AI visibility audits for service businesses

A generic business website drawn as layered glass panels in a sunlit stone pavilion above a valley of cloud.

Looking up your company name tells only part of the story.

In one audit, the business's main site was cited 411 times. 239 of those citations came from questions that named the business.

On the questions that describe a buyer's need without naming anyone, the same site was cited 8 times across 292 answers.

Your audit examines the questions someone asks before they know which business to choose.

Source. Anonymized finding from a practice audit delivered at no charge in September 2026. 45 questions · ChatGPT, Gemini and Perplexity through their APIs · recorded conditions. The counts are the report's own.

Understand the gaps. Know what to work on next.

Your report turns the findings into practical priorities for your website and business information.

Check how AI describes you.

Identify incorrect details, missing information, or confusion with another business.

Receive prioritized changes with supporting evidence, suggested wording, and instructions you can hand to your web provider.

Each recommendation explains the finding behind it and distinguishes a supported correction from a change worth testing.

Some of what we find is a two-minute email.

In the same audit, 8 third-party pages already described the business. 5 of them already linked to it.

2 needed nothing more than a short email to the publisher. One of those pages returns a "page not found" error, and AI answers were still citing it 8 times.

Built around how your customers choose.

  1. You provide the business context. Tell us about your services, customers, and market.
  2. We build the question set around your market. We write the questions your buyers actually bring to AI about your trade, your services and the firms you come up against, and we select them independently so the set can't be steered toward the ones you already win. Each is asked repeatedly across five named engines, then we read every answer against your site and the sources it cited.
  3. You receive your findings and priorities. Your written report arrives within five business days of your reserved start date, once intake is complete. You or your web provider carry out the recommended website changes.

After 90 days, we recheck five of the original questions and report what changed.

What the audit buys

Questions

Written for your market and chosen independently, so the set can't be steered toward the ones you already win.

Answers

Every question asked repeatedly across five named engines, with the engine, model, settings, date and every failed attempt recorded.

Your site

Read closely, along with every source the answers cited, so each finding points at something you can open yourself.

Your report

What the engines state about you, where you were named and where you weren't, which competitors hold the answers you want, and prioritized changes with the wording you'd need to act on them.

Follow-up

Your questions answered after delivery, so you are not left alone with the report.

The recheck

We re-run your questions on the same engines after the work is done and report what actually moved.

The boundaries

Exactly what this measures

Every boundary below is in the report too. You should know all of it before you decide, not after.

How it's measured

Five named API engines, under recorded conditions.

Not the consumer apps. An app personalizes, rewrites what you typed and uses your location, so an API sample isn't what any one customer sees.

Gemini's API, which is a different surface from Google's AI Overview.

The report names which one it sampled, every time.

What appeared, and what didn't.

If one of your pages was never cited, the sample shows you that. Working out why is a separate job, and the report says which of the changes are experiments rather than fixes.

What it means for you

A sample of answers, not a count of customers.

Eight answers are eight answers. They describe the questions and conditions we ran. AI assistants do not publish how often anyone asks a question, so no one can turn answers into market share or lost revenue, and we will not pretend otherwise.

Evidence for a decision, not a guarantee.

Nobody controls whether an engine cites you, so nobody can promise it. What you get is enough evidence to decide what's worth changing.

An honest read on whether there's anything here yet.

If the questions your customers ask return no companies at all, the report says so plainly, and tells you what that means for where to spend next.

Specifications, and you keep the implementation.

You get the wording and the change specs. You or your current web provider make the changes.

In the report too
We do not sell rankings, traffic guarantees, or llms.txt. Every figure we publish traces to a stored sample with a date on it, and every report says what we did not measure.
The standards we work to

Who does the work

Everything we measure, and everything we can't, is written on this site before you pay. That's the basis for trusting a report you haven't read yet.

One price, the same for everyone. If nothing needs changing, the report says so. Every recommendation traces back to a stored answer with a date on it, and the report shows you which one.

Vector Index standards, published before you pay. The full method is here.

How the work is doneIn house

Every audit is run, read and written in house.

The sampling is built around your company and your market rather than a template: your services, the firms you come up against, and the questions your buyers actually ask. We read every answer, write every recommendation, and send every report ourselves.

About three minutes. No commitment.

A few things to know before you book.

Why not ask AI myself?

You can. A single answer gives you one observation. The audit adds independently selected buyer questions, repeated testing across five engines, a review of the evidence, and written recommendations.

Will every customer see the same answers?

No. Answers can vary between engines, sessions, and testing conditions. Your report documents how the tests were run and what the findings support.

Will this guarantee more AI recommendations?

No. The audit identifies changes worth making or testing. Inclusion in future answers can't be guaranteed.

What if there's little worth changing?

The report will explain that. Recommendations follow the evidence, helping you focus your effort where there's a clear reason to act.

Can I get a refund?

Yes, at any time before you submit your intake form, with no deadline. Submitting intake is what starts the work and commits the sampling spend, so that is the point the refund closes.
